Adding Domains and configuring a server

Again these were all VMs and we focused on configuring them with the basic necessities needed to have a fluid running LAN. local area network

Within our administrative Server, we created users and assigned them to a group. Not only users.. Most importantly, we made an admin user

Within this group, we added rules and privileges.

We were even able to configure the set wallpaper for all the users on the same LAN of the server hosting them. Great for workforce locations…

Another thing we added was ISS to the server. This stands for internet information services and we were able to upload an HTML to a web server page to be displayed once a web browser accesses it.

A few snags we ran into were configuring the times on the domains to match the server.

Once we fixed that snag, we had one more, adding the wallpaper to be configured on the windows domains. Why was that? Simple misspelling on a file holding the jpg. Once we redownloaded it and uploaded it to the server setting GUI. we had success!

Also, did you know the server admin can adjust what websites are considered safe or not?

Lastly. we installed an ubuntu device. More on that to come

Within our LAN we set up several more devices
